The science of persuasion requires that you have a handful of key elements in order to be persuasive. Almost all human being can be persuaded provided you give them what their brains are craving.

This isn’t as much psychological warfare as it is a basic understanding of your fellow man. In order to be persuasive, it is vitalĀ  you touch on all the key elements they require in order to feel comfortable in their decision:

  1. Reciprocity
  2. Scarcity
  3. Authority
  4. Consistency
  5. Liking
  6. Consensus

Knowing all these key elements in the science of persuasion will get the people on your side. You just might not have to play an underhanded card to get everything you want from coworkers or family members. Sometimes it’s about being genuine and honest that manipulates people into your way of thinking.
